Location: Olds, AB | Shift: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Reporting to the Paint Supervisor, you will assist with leading a team of paint technicians and sandblasters in the preparation, powder coating, and finishing of mechanical parts—ensuring exceptional quality, efficiency, and safety. Qualifications:
- Expertise in powder coating and/or sandblasting processes
- Leadership Experience – Previous experience leading a team is an asset
- Hands-On Expertise – Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Time Management & Organization – Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Strong Communication – Both verbal and written skills are essential
- Safety Awareness – Ability to lead by example and ensure a safe work environment
- Flexibility – Willingness to adapt to shifting priorities and shift schedules as needed
- Physical Fitness – Comfortable working in an active, hands-on role
- Forklift and Overhead Crane Experience – An asset that will help you succeed in this role
Responsibilities:
- Assist with leading, mentoring, and training a team of paint technicians
- Ensure top-quality paint application that meets client and company standards
- Work closely with the Paint Supervisor to implement best practices and process improvements
- Maintain inventory and collaborate with production teams to keep work flowing efficiently
- Oversee proper handling and preparation of parts before painting
- Assist in sandblasting and wash bay operations when needed
- Cross-train team members and provide backup in other areas
- Assist in 5S implementation to improve organization and efficiency
- Act as the Paint Supervisor in their absence
- Promote and maintain a safe, inclusive, and productive workplace
